Utah Pet Access has installed a dog door for me in two different homes, They are the best! My first Utah home was purchased in 2020 and they installed a XL dog door for my Bernese Mountain/Australian Shepherd mixed breed puppy in the glass panel of my patio French doors. I was really impressed with the quality and durability of the dog door, but especially in the design of matching the other glass panel in the French doors so that the dog door looked seamlessly built in. They cut the doggy door into a custom plate of glass that so perfectly fit our old glass (in an expensive custom door) that you can't tell it didn't come from the original factory that way. Great craftsmanship! You do pay craftsman prices though.

I love this company. Trevor is awesome to work with. The fundamental problem we have is two of our dogs are around 10 pounds and our golden doodle is around 55 pounds. The dog door we initially installed years back was just too heavy for the littles to swing the door open. A few months back we had the High Tech Power Pet Roll-Up Door installed. We understood it was a brand new product, so were not upset when 3 weeks in the door was not going up smoothly when the weather was colder that 40 degrees or it was damp/rainy. High Tech Company immediately responded and Trevor and his team kindly installed a new one. Since that time, the door has worked great. We have over 9,000 documented openings between the 3 dogs over the past 7-8 months. The door comes with an app which is awesome if you need to suddenly lock off the door, eg lawn service. The app was initially a little glitchy but with several updates now works pretty well. Three simple collars and sensors came with the door. The collars are cheap and about 1/4 inch in width. I especially did not like that for my large dog so spent the money to upgrade to the better quality dog collars. Getting to the sensor batteries, which last about 3 months, can be challenging so I went on Amazon and got a watch battery tool kit which makes changing out the battery quick and easy. (Helpful hint:)) Overall, we love this door! It will be interesting to see how it does over the winter months.
